Located in the heart of the Southern Flinders Ranges only 2-1/2 hours leisurely drive from Adelaide through the beautiful Clare Valley.  With the pretty townships of Laura and Wirrabara 8km to the south and north respectively, Stone Hut is nestled on 3-1/2 acres in some of the most spectacular rural scenery in South Australia. 
Accommodation is country cottage style outside with stylish and contemporary decor. Separately located on the property is a licensed restaurant serving dinner to guests, great coffee, regional and boutique wines and local produce for sale. A fully cooked breakfast is inlcuded in our room tariff and served anytime from 7.30am in the restaurant.
Enjoy bush walking in the nearby Wirrabara Forest, cycling, antique shops, historic townships, stunning scenery - a perfect place to stay and explore this beautiful part of South Australia.

Cottage guests receive a  complimentary cooked breakfast served anytime from 7.15 to 9.30 am in the cafe and wine and chocolates on arrival.

Inspection welcome.  

  Each cottage has ensuite, fully equipped kitchenette, quality linen, reverse cycle air con, ceiling fan, electric blankets, digital TV, dedicated car parking space, private verandah.  Rain water tank, bio waste system and solar hot water. 

                                                           

We've come a long way from the way we were.....

Now the billy I make me tea in, it does me for me stew,

the dish I wash me face in, I mix me damper too,

In the summer time when the sun is hot the meat I cover up,

Or the flies will take it cantering round the old bark hut.
